Imran Khan expresses sorrow over the death of Bishop Anthony Theodore Lobo

Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and all members of the PTI have expressed deep shock and grief over the sad demise of Bishop Anthony Theodore Lobo, the Roman Catholic Bishop of the Diocese of Rawalpindi-Islamabad.

Besides being an eminent Religious scholar, Bishop Lobo was also an outstanding educationist of Pakistan. Besides serving as Principal St. Patricks School he also established modern state of the art education institutions like St. Michel’s Convent Karachi, Notre Dame College Karachi, St. Mary’s Academy for Girls Lalazar, Rawalpindi, and most recently, St Mary’s College Rwalpindi, the first Roman Catholic Post Graduate Professional College of Pakistan. Amongst his students are some of the best and noted high achievers of Pakistan.

The government of Pakistan in recognition of his services in the field of education awarded him the Presidential Medal of Pride of Performance.
“Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf joins the Christians of Pakistan in this moment of grief and pray for the departed soul,” said Imran Khan.
