N-League has no interest in problems of poor people:Ch Parvaiz Elahi

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvaiz Elahi has said that N-League has no interest in the problems of the farmers, poor and common man, those who have remained steadfast with us despite registration of false cases and vindictive activities against them by the Punjab Govt during last five years are precious asset of PML. He said this while talking to a delegation from district Hafizabad, headed by former MNA Mehdi Hassan Bhatti, at the State Guest House here today.

Delegation included former Provincial Minister Shaukat Bhatti, Mubashar Abbas Bhatti, Rai Riasat Kharal, Rai Jahangir Ali Kharal, Malik Gulzar, Rana Akbar, Nasir Mahmud Gill, Madam Huma, Rana Israr, Rana Nasrullah, Ejaz Tarar, Rana Irshad, Mian Ahmad Hassan, Shoaib Hayat Tarar, Razzaq Bhatti, Ehsan Hanjar, Hanif Toor and Rafiq Gujjar among others. Ch Parvez Elahi said that because of Shahbaz Sharif, there is shortage of gas and electricity in whole of Punjab including Hafizabad, people are being punished for his wrong policies, N-League has created its own new record of registration of false cases in particular lot of vindictive actions have been taken against PML leaders, office-bearers and workers and false cases registered against them. Continuing, he said that he is happy that our workers colleagues remained steadfast and are with us even now, elections are fast approaching and as such the party has launched mass contact campaign in order to activate workers and colleagues. He said that people are attending in pretty large numbers the public meetings being held in this regard in different districts, which is a clear indication that PML vote bank has increased.

Ch Parvaiz Elahi further said that Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif during the five years period have done nothing for the people of the Punjab, life and property of the people are not safe whereas we had worked for betterment, prosperity, well-being and welfare of the people, during our tenure problems of the poor and common man were solved at their doorsteps, N-League has enmity with the farmers and poor people of the Punjab while our slogan was that prosperous green villages mean prosperous Pakistan. The Deputy Prime Minister said that the people should compare ours and their tenure and vote for and ensure success of Pakistan Muslim League candidates for prosperity and development of Pakistan.

Mehdi Hassan Bhatti said that during the tenure of Ch Parvez Elahi, people were prosperous, law and order situation in the province was much better, development works were undertaken not just in Lahore but all over the Punjab without any discrimination, roads network was spread in the whole of Punjab including South Punjab and every district was provided development funds running in billions of rupees.
