Suspension season starts again in Punjab

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has suspended Tehsildar Haroonabad Ahmed Raza Sultan and Additional Deputy Collector Farooq Alvi on committing irregularities in the illegal occupation of 400 kanal land of an overseas Pakistani in Donga Bonga (Bahawalnagar).

According to details, an overseas Pakistani had informed the Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif about illegal occupation of his land, upon which he constituted a high level inquiry committee and in the light of the report of the inquiry committee, action has been initiated against the above mentioned officers. Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif made it clear that ‘qabza mafia’ would not be tolerated and directed all Divisional Commissioners to take strict action against gangs involved in such activities.
