Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan should benefit from the experiences of Hungary, whereas Punjab government is keen to promote its economic ties with Hungry. He said Hungry has great expertise in the fields of steel technology and engineering, while vast opportunities of investment in steel industry exist in Pakistan, especially in Punjab, for which there is a need to adopt a concrete strategy. The Chief Minister directed Punjab Investment Board authorities to take steps for promoting economic ties with Hungary.
He expressed these views while talking to the Ambassador of Hungary in Pakistan Istvan Szabo at Model Town, here today. He said all possible steps would be taken for promotion of economic ties with Hungary.
Talking on the occasion, the Ambassador of Hungary in Pakistan Istvan Szabo said his country is in favour of strengthening democratic institutions in Pakistan. He said Pakistan has given valuable sacrifices in the war against terrorism. He said Hungary intends to promote economic and trade ties with the Punjab government. The Ambassador paid tribute to Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for his outstanding performance in the development of all social sectors throughout Punjab.
