Lahore: MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that only sincere and honest leadership can put the country on the road to progress and prosperity. He stressed upon the youth to elect honest and sincere leadership in the forthcoming general elections for putting the country on the path of development and progress. He said that it is the responsibility of youth to utilize all their energies for building a new Pakistan and transforming it in accordance with the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam in real sense.
He expressed these views while addressing internship certificates and laptops distribution function among male and female students at Government College Sahiwal, today. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that 802 laptops and 2500 internship certificates were distributed among the male and female students of the division. Special Assistant on Education, Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri, Provincial Minister for Zakat and Usher Malik Nadeem Kamran and local leadership of the party were present on the occasion. Officials of Education Department, male and female students and parents attended the function in a large number.
Hamza Shahbaz said that every Pakistani is disturbed over the present situation of Pakistan. He said that labourers, industrialists and traders are protesting on roads daily but the rulers of Islamabad are not taking mercy on the nation. He said that the rulers should listen to the voice of 18 crore people of the country otherwise they will oust them from the corridors of power. He said that those begging from ‘aghyaar’ cannot safeguard the interests of the country. He said that Punjab government has laid the foundation of a new revolution by distributing two lakhs and ten thousand laptops worth Rs.8 billion among the youth through which the young generation will utilize all its capabilities for providing sovereign and dignified status to the country by achieving modern knowledge. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that the living nations face difficult times but again achieve honourable place in the world by overcoming these problems through hard work and Malaysia, China and Singapore are living example of it. He said that the distribution of laptops programme has been acknowledged throughout the world and now the Uttar Pradesh State of India is also going to launch this programme for youth. He said that only PML-N which has the full support of the people can bring the country out of crisis. Later, he also gave away laptops and internship certificates to 25 male and female position holder students.
