Unity could not be realized till the pro-US people ruled the Muslim world:Leaders of the Islamic movements

Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan, has said that the US and the west were exploiting the Muslim countries including Pakistan both politically and economically, and the West’s slavery could not be overthrown without change of leadership in the Muslim world.speakers were addressing the seminar “ Arab Spring, dangers and the possibilities, “ He said that the dream of Muslim unity could not be realized as long as the pro-US people ruled the Muslim world. However, he was hopeful that like the Arab Spring,Asia and Europe would also witness the spring of Islamic revolution soon.
He was addressing the seminar “ Arab Spring, dangers and the possibilities, “ organized by the Jamaat e Islami, in honour of the leaders of the Islamic movements and representative delegations, held at Mansoora Monday afternoon.

Those who addressed the seminar included former Ikhwan ul Muslimoon chief, Muhammad Mehdi Aakif, Turkish Saadat party president Mostafa Kamalak, member of the Egypt’s Legislative Assembly Dr Abdur Rehman al boos, and Jamat al Dawa chief, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed.

Syed Munawar Hasan said that despite strong opposition by the Satanic forces, the Islamic movements were gaining ground with every passing day. He said that the US stooges ruling Egypt, Libya, Tunis, and Morocco had met a terrible fate, and Pakistan could not remain unaffected by the movement for the Islamic revival. However, to achieve that end, the masses would have to lend their support to the Islamic movements.
The Ikhwanul Muslimoon leader Muhammad Mehdi Aakif, in his address, said that efforts for the Muslim unity were begun by the late Qazi Husain Ahmed, late Najmud Din Erbakan and himself in 1989 and there had been a considerable headway in this regard. However, he said, the death of Qazi Husain Ahmed had badly affected these efforts. He said that Israel wanted to obstruct the process of Islamic constitution in Egypt by every possible way, and an Israeli Minister had confessed that even if Hosni Mobarak had to quit, Israel’s agents were sitting at important posts of the Egyptian government. However, he said, that the force of the masses had washed away all such elements, and even the worst opponents were feeling pride in joining their ranks.
He said during Hosni Mobarak’s days, the Egyptian national exchequer had about 36 billion dollars, but when Dr Mursi took over, only 17 billion dollars had been left, which showed that the Egyptian treasury had been mercilessly plundered.

Turkish leader Mostafa Kamalak , in his address, said that his country had given the idea of a common currency for the Muslim countries about 20 years back. He said that Europe had adopted the idea while the Muslim world could not advance on these lines. He said that the US and the west were exploiting the Muslim countries ruthlessly and the only way to stop that was to have a common army, a common currency and a common market and trade for the Muslim countries. The Muslims, he said, believed in one God, one prophet, one book and one Qibla, still they were steeped in differences.
A representative of the Sudanese President, Abu Bakr Siddique, said that before the Islamic revolution, his country had been suffering from serious and prolonged and the exchequer was empty. He said that with the Islamic revolution, peace was restored and attention was given to education and Islamic banking was started. These efforts had proved productive.

At the end of the seminar, the Turkish Saadat party leader presented a memorial shield to the JI Ameer which was passed on to Qazi Husan Ahmed’s son Asif Luqman Qazi. .
