Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in National Assembly, Ch. Nisar Ali Khan during a press briefing about the policy of PML-N with regard to establishment of new provinces, termed the announcement of setting up of Bahawalpur Janoobi Punjab Province as a drama of Zardari Gang and assimilated it with ‘dhong march’ of Tahir ul Qadri.
The Chief Minister and the Opposition Leader gave reply to the questions of media confidently and in a comprehensive manner and clarified the party stance regarding setting up of new provinces. During the briefing, the Chief Minister strongly criticized the loot and plunder of Zardari gang and its indifference with the people during flood in South Punjab. Shahbaz Sharif said that Zardari went to Bahawalpur for hunting but did not visit the people marooned in flood in south Punjab.
The Chief Minister also criticized opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz on his wrong statement and said that how such a person should be trusted who sought apology from Supreme Court on wrong statement with regard to his dual nationality.
