Mazars of sufi saints are place of spiritual satisfaction:Rana Sana

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that the mazars of sufi saints and religious personalities are place of spiritual satisfaction and provision of safe and pleasant environment to the devotees is in the priorities of the Punjab government.

He stated this while addressing an inaugural ceremony of the completion of reconstructed project of Darbar of Hazrat Muhammad Bakhsh popularly known as Baba Lasoori Shah, mosque and other adjacent parts with huge funds of Rs. 85 lakh, in Jhang Bazaar Faisalabad today. MPA Dr. Khalid Imtiaz Khan Baloch, XEN Auqaf Salahuddin Abbasi, Zonal Administrator Auqaf Iqbal Khan Niazi, other officers and devotees were present in large numbers on the occasion. The Minister said that Hazrat Baba Lasoori Shah provided guidance to the Muslims in right direction throughout his life and gave them a lesson of virtue and welfare. He said that a number of devotees visit his mazar for earning the blessings of Almighty Allah. He said that due to dilapidated condition of Darbar and the old building of the mosque, decision was taken for its reconstruction upon which, Punjab government with the approval of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, provided huge funds and this project has been completed within one year. He said that due to reconstruction and renovation of the mazar and the mosque, the devotees will be facilitated during their visit to the mazar and offering their prayers.
Later, the Minister inaugurated the project of reconstruction of the building of Hazrat Baba Lasoori Shah by unveiling the plaque and also visited the mazar. He also offered fateha and prayed for the progress, prosperity and solidarity of the country. He also saw different parts of the newly constructed building of the mazar. Earlier, a mehfil-e- samaa was also held.
