Lahore: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has welcomed the steps being taken by the Supreme Court for the recovery of the missing persons.
In a statement here on Thursday, he however said that the lawlessness of the government and the law enforcing agencies despite the presence of the constitution, a democratic order, the parliament and an independent judiciary, was a matter of deep concern for the entire nation. He said, the people who had already lost confidence in the police, were now losing faith in the security forces and the sensitive agencies for persistently ignoring judiciary’s orders which was dangerous for the national security.
Liaqat Baloch said that the western border of the country had already been insure and now the eastern border had also become most insecure due to the US India collusion against the country. He said the extremist groups inside India were being exposed and
under these circumstances, it was essential to restore the confidence of the masses for facing the enemy. This required total loyalty of the government, secret agencies, the armed forces towards the Supreme Court. These agencies should practically prove that they considered themselves subservient to the constitution, the law and the judiciary, he added.
