Allama Tahir ul Qadri is sitll under threat:Spokesman Punjab Govt

Lahore: Punjab government has refused to give permission to Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran for holding a function at Minar-e-Pakistan in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi. The spokesman said that three different parties including Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran had applied for holding of functions at Minar-e-Pakistan on Eid Milad-un-Nabi but the administration expressed its inability to give permission to any organization due to security reasons.

The spokesman further said that in the present circumstances, there are security concerns regarding any function at Minar-e-Pakistan therefore Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran can arrange such an event in walled premises or any safe place. The spokesman said the statement of the leader of Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran is against the facts that only Minhajul Quran has not been allowed to hold function at Minar-e-Pakistan as no one has been given such a permission.
