DIG Operations announces punishments to police officers

Lahore: DIG Operations Muhammad Tahir Rai awarded punishments to Inspector, Sub-Inspector, ASI and constables on different charges in orderly room, here today. These police officers were called to reply different charges against them. After listing their replies DIG Operations Muhammad Tahir Rai showed his displeasure and un-satisfaction and announced different punishment against them.

Inspector Nazim Nazir awarded the punishment of Dismissal from service for having illegal relations with drug dealers and involved in corruption, Sub-Inspector Shahzad Kamal awarded the punishment of dismissal from service for negligence, failure in crime control and involved in corruption, ASI Ghulam Haider Dismissed from service on the charges of registered fake case against his opponents and involved in corruption, Constables Mohammad Imran & Fayyaz Baig dismissed form service on the charges of Illegal checking of vehicles for corruption, ulterior motives and misbehaving with a lady on duty and Constable Sajid Ali also awarded the punishment of dismissed from service for involving in a criminal case. On the same way, sub-Inspector Muhammad Arif is also got the punishment of reduction in rank Sub-Inspector to ASI, for charge of poor performance and constant complaints of corruption against him.

On this occasion, DIG Operations Muhammad Tahir Rai, directed all police officer and subordinates to perform their duties with full devotion and sincerity. He makes it clear that negligence in duties and corruption will not be tolerated.
