Punjab govt is registering no case against Tahir-ul-Qadri:Senator Pervaiz Rashid

Lahore: Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that Tahir-ul-Qadri’s allegations of the impounding of vehicles for the long march and the arrest of drivers are totally baseless. He said that telling of lies is in the nature of Tahir-ul-Qadri which is proved by Youtube and the editorials of the newspapers. He said that Tahir-ul-Qadri who got even the motorcycles of his supporters sold and pocketed the money is now leveling the allegations against the others. He said that Punjab government is registering no as the people of Pakistan have boycotted him.

In a statement and while talking to media men, Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that Punjab government has fulfilled its responsibility of providing complete security cover to Tahir-ul-Qadri and also gave him an opportunity to gather as many persons as he could, but he has not been able to gather more than just a few hundred persons. Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that accusations of Tahir-ul-Qadri, regarding putting impediments in long march are nothing but an attempt to hide his own despondency and humiliation. He said traffic is flowing as per routine throughout the province, which is complete negation of Tahir-ul-Qadri’s accusation that roads have been closed for the long march. Senator Pervaiz Rahsid said that there is no truth in the accusation of Tahir-ul-Qadri that lakhs of his supporters have been stopped from participating in the long march, because how can lakhs of people be stopped. He said that Tahir-ul-Qadri is now putting blame of a flop long march on the others.

Senator Pervaiz Rashid pointed out that Tahir-ul-Qadri proceeded on the long march in a bullet proof vehicle and also arranged such vehicles for his relatives but left his hapless devotees at the mercy of terrorists. He said that the accusations of sealing the cities of Punjab and arrest of drivers are totally baseless and ridicules as media men would have known about any such incident. He said that Pir Sahib is supposed to work miracles and if so he could have taken his vehicles to Islamabad miraculously.
