This new PCB initiative is meant to recognize, acknowledge and honour Pakistan’s prime cricketing talent that has consistently stood out on the field of play – winning laurels for the team and the nation.
“The PCB believes that by putting the prime movers of our resurrection in contemporary cricket over the last one year on a pedestal, and making it a permanent feature, will give additional incentive to our top talent to make an extra effort whenever they step on to the field in Pakistan colours.

“We at the PCB are confident that it shall bring even greater consistency in Team Pakistan’s performances than witnessed in recent times”, said PCB Chairman Ch. Zaka Ashraf.
