PTI Chief paid tribute to the services of Qazi Hussain

Lahore: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan has expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed.

In his condolence message sent to Asif Luqman Qazi and other members of the bereaved family, the PTI Chief paid tribute to the services of Qazi Hussain Ahmed for the unity of Muslim ummah and stability of democratic process in Pakistan.

He said that he had closely worked with the JI Chief over the past over a decade and found him a person with integrity and vision.

“No threat or favour could shatter the resolve of Qazi Sahib and he always remained committed to the cause of his party and the democratic process,” he added.

Imran Khan, on behalf of his party and himself offered condolence to the family of Qazi Hussain and other JI workers and prayed to the Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with patience and fortitude.
