Lahore: Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Khan Baig presided over a high level meeting at the Central Police Office Lahore today.
Additional-IG (PHP) Malik Khuda Bukhsh Awan, Additional -IG (Training) Mubarak Ali Athar, Additional-IG (Finance) Sarmad Saeed, Additional-IG (Investigations) Naseem-ul-Zaman , DIG Headquarters Muhammad Amlesh, DIG (Investigations) Abu Bakar Khuda Bakhsh, DIG (Operations) Sohail Ahmed Khan, DIG (I&V) Farooq Amin Qureshi, AIG (Operations) Sahibzada Shahzada Sultan, AIG (Finance) Saad Akhtar Bharwana, AIG (Logistic) Raja Riffat, AIG (Training) Maqsood ul Hassan, AIG (Discipline) Abdul Qayyum Qadir, AIG (Inspection) Khalida Khurshid, and PSO to IGP Muhammad Ali Nakokar were present in the meeting. The IGP individually listened to the officers to understand about the problems being faced by their departments.
On this occasion, Additional-IG (Training) Mubarak Ali Athar, Additional-IG (Finance) Sarmad Saeed and other officers informed
the IGP about the shortage of funds, accommodation for the under-training male and female officials from other cities, and food and mess facilities for the trainers at the police training colleges.
Khan Baig assured the officers that he would not only help solve their problems but also take up the issues with the government at the highest level. On this occasion, the CPO staff welcomed the IGP and also congratulated him for assuming the charge of IGP.
