Bilawal to infuse vigour in PPP, lead caravan of nation, democracy: PM

Garhi Khuda Baksh: Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said here Thursday that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who is taking the helms of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will lead the caravan of the nation and democracy and reinvigorate the PPP workers.

Talking to media persons here on the occasion of fifth death anniversary of martyred chairperson of PPP and former prime minister Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto the Prime Minister said that those who have gathered here today at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto trust Pakistan Peoples Party, they trust the mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and the struggle, vision and sacrifice of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.”Today the mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto is in the hands of the people through democratic means,” the Prime Minister said. It is acknowledged by the world that power is being transferred to the masses on the anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, he added.

Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that transfer of leadership has been taking place in the Bhutto family and today Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will take the leadership in his hand.Bilawal will take the mantel to carry forward the mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto towards achieving the end, for democracy and prosperity of the country, the Prime Minister said.”Today the the image of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and training of President Asif Ali Zardari will appear before the masses in the person of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari,” the Prime Minister said. Bilawal is also highly educated and has completed his higher education from top international universities, he added.
“Bilawal will lead the caravan of the nation and the democracy,” Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said.

The Prime Minister said Bilawal was bred by Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto herself. He has witnessed political exile and adversity. He experienced the seclusion from his father who was in prison for eight years.Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has the ability to lead the party and the nation. He will reinvigorate the PPP workers by bringing in his new thought, courage and zeal to the party. “He will infuse a new siprit among the party workers,” Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said.
Earlier,Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf Thursday laid wreaths at the grave of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto here on her fifth death anniversary and offered Fateha. He also offered Fateha at the graves of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and other members of the Bhutto family.The Prime Minister who has come here on the death anniversary of Shaheed Chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto also visited the graves of founder-chairman of PPP Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, former chairman of PPP and Madar-e- Jamhooriat late Begum Nusrat Bhutto, first wife of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto late Shirin Ameer Begum, Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto, Shaheed Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto.

Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf visited their graves, laid floral wreaths and offered fateha there.

Accompanying the Prime Minister were Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Chairman Senate Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Defence Minister Syed Naveed Qamar, Interior Minister A. Rehman Malik, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, Senator Mian Raza Rabbani, President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Yaqub Khan, Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Pir Syed Karam Ali Shah, CM Gilgit-Baltistan Mehdi Shah, former Punjab Governor Barrister Latif Khosa, provincial ministers Murad Ali Shah and Zahid Ali Bhurgari.
