Mian Manzoor Wattoo calls on Majid Nizami

Lahore: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs & Gilgit-Baltistan, Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo was called on by Mir. Bulkh Sher Mazari (Ex. Prime Minister of Pakistan) on 21-12-2012 at Lahore.

Mir Bulkh Sher Mazari congratulated Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo on becoming the president of Pakistan Peoples Party of Punjab. He assured him of his full support. He appreciated the efforts of Mian Manzoor Wattoo in consolidating the PPP position in Punjab.

Mian Manzoor Wattoo apprised Mir Bulkh Sher Mazari of the historic steps taken by the Federal govt. in strengthening the national institutions. He said it was a great achievement of PPP govt. to make the Election commission of Pakistan an independent institution. He said the free and fair elections would be held on time. He said that PPP would form its govt. in Punjab after sweeping the upcoming elections. Mir Bulkh Sher Mazari showed his complete satisfaction on hearing the overall election plan of the Federal Govt.

The Federal Minister also visited Mr. Majeed Niazami and sought general guidance in political matters.
