Special fund will be allocated for the children of martyred:Raja Ashfaq

Lahore: Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab has said that proposals for establishing a fund for the education of the children of those martyred in bomb blasts incidents on the line of Punjab Endowment Fund would be presented to Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif with the view to help such children for acquiring education. He added that a committee would be established consisting on officers of local administration and heirs of the martyrs which with the proposals and recommendation to evolve a policy at provincial level and such proposals will be submitted onward to the provincial govt.

He said this while having an interaction with a delegation of Shea Ulema and heirs of the martyrs who met him on Saturday afternoon in Commissioner Office, Rawalpindi. RPO Capt. ® Muhammad Zubair, DCO Saqib Zafar, CPO Azhar Hameed Khokhar, renowned religious scholar Allama Pir Izhar Bukhari, Shea leaders Syed Shahzad Hussain Shah, Vice President Shea Action Committee Syed Javiad Ali Naqvi, Allama Ibrar Hussain Rizvi, Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Allama Syed Anwar Hussain Kazmi, Manzoor Hussain Jafri, Sahibzada Syed Anwar Hussain Kazmi and heirs of the martyrs of the Dhoke Sayyadan Bomb Blast incident were present in the meeting.

Shea Ullema Karam and heirs of the martyrs extending their gratitude to the advisor to the Chief Minister Raja Ashfaq Sarwer and Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif for providing financial assistance to the affected families and they thanked Raja Ashfaq Sarwer for taking special interest in helping the heirs of the martyrs and those injured in the incident. Raja Ashfaq Sarwer said that the cheques of financial assistance for heirs of those who died later on account of being injured would also be delivered to the concerned heirs of the affected families very soon. The heirs of the martyred persons presented proposal that financial assistance would also be provided to the under age children who are studying in schools and colleges. The Advisor to the Chief Minister Punjab on this proposal constituted a committee to prepare recommendations in this respect.

The members of the delegation lauded Punjab Govt. prompt response for extending help to the affected families. Raja Ashfaq Sarwer also thanked the Shea leaders and Ulema Karam for demonstrating forbearance and patience at the moment of the incident and controlling situation wisely. RPO Capt. ® Muhammad Zubair and CPO Azhar Hameed Khokhar briefed the meeting about the progress in connection with investigation of the suicidal attack case of Dhoke Sayydan on this occasion.
