PIA wins the NBP Gold Cup Hockey Tournament

Lahore:Pakistan International Airlines’s team has become champion of The NBP Gold Cup Hockey Tournament by defeating National Bank of Paistan afet a tough compitition .PIA defeated NBP by one goal in Final match on last day at National Hockey Stadium, Pitch-II, Lahore.

Olympian Qasim Zia, President PHF was the Chief Guest on Final match between PIA vs NBP. On the occasion Olympian Muhammad Asif Bajwa, Secretary General Pakistan Hockey Federation, Iqbal Qasim, Senior Executive Vice-President/Incharge Sports Department, National Bank of Pakistan, Olympian Akhtar Rasool Chaudhry Manager/Head Coach Pakistan Hockey Team, Organising Secretary Olympian Rana Mujahid Ali, Tournament Director Olympian Anjum Saeed, Olympian Danish Kaleem, Olympian Muhammad Akhlaq, DSP Qasim Khan, Mr. Pervaiz Bhandara and officials of DHA Lahore were also present.

While third position Trophy and Cash Prize Rs. 15,000/- went to CUSTOMS, Runner up Trophy and Cash Prize Rs. 20,000/- went to National Bank of Pakistan and Winning Trophy and Cash Prize Rs. 25,000/- of NBP Gold Cup Hockey Tournament went to Pakistan International Airlines.
