Kaira terms expats asset of the nation

Islamabad: Minister for information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Thursday that overseas Pakistanis were asset of the country and Pakistani community in Kyrgystan has not only contributed in Kyrgyz economy but played an important role in strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kyrgystan.This he said during a visit to National Bank of Pakistan branch in Beshkek, said a message received from Kyrgystan.

The minister was given a detailed briefing on the working of the branch by its General Manager Yawar Khan. He said that the branch has attracted both Pakistani and local Kyrgyz communities.The minister while appreciating the performance of the branch said that the bank was providing services of international standards.

Kaira also attended a dinner hosted by Pakistani business community in Kyrgystan. He listened to the problems of the Pakistani community and appreciated them for their contribution in national economy.
