Punjab ovt.spokesman says election is hijacked every time in Karachi

Lahore: Senator has said that it has been always a complaint about Karachi that election is hijacked every time in Karachi city through delimitation of constituencies and preparation of voters’ lists in a specific manner.
Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that now it is the demand of an independent Election Commission and powerful media that the political awareness and opinion of Pakistani people should be presented on the basis of ground realities. He said it is the duty of all concerned institutions including Election Commission that the elections in Karachi should be got freed from the hijackers and the implementation of court’s decision regarding delimitation of constituencies and voters’ lists should be ensured in letter and spirit.
