Firing at bye-election,CM orders the arrest of the accused

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken strict notice of the incidents of firing on the occasion of bye-elections and ordered IG Punjab for the immediate arrest of the accused.

Meanwhile, in the light of the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab, two cases have been registered by Sahiwal police against the accused involved in ariel firing after bye-elections in Chichwatni under section 285 and 286 for displaying of firearms and ariel firing. Two accused Ghulam Abbas s/o Lal Hussain r/o Chak 12/L-119 and Shaukat Hussain s/o Muhammad Aslam Chak No. 12/L-110 have been arrested while raids are being conducted for apprehending the other accused.
