Swedish educationist, Sister Bargita injured by firing in model town

Lahore: Chairman Provincial Protection Committee of Minorities Properties, Senator Kamran Michael has strongly condemned the firing incident on a Swedish educationist, Sister Bargita at Model Town, here today and described it an anti state step.

Senator Kamran Michael said that such incidents not only tarnish the image of the country abroad but also affect the efforts for maintaining peace and harmony. He said that Sister Bargita devoted her whole life for promotion of education and service to the humanity which is an honour for us.

Later, Senator Kamran Michael enquired about the health of Sister Bargita in Jinnah Hospital and directed the doctors to provide her all possible medical treatment.

Mind it that Swedish educationist, Sister Bargita was injured by firing today in Model town vicinity in broad daylight by unknown armed persons
