CM approves conveyance allowance of Punjab government officials

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has approved revision of conveyance allowance of Punjab government officers and officials from grade 1 to 19 with effect from July 2012.

Directions in this regard have been issued to Finance Department and an annual expenditure of over Rs.12 billion will be borne by the Punjab government under this head.
Meanwhile ,the lower staff of the Lahore general hospital have welcomed the decision and distributes sweets among the patients too.The lower staff have the opinion that it was their right and they were struggling it for many years.They thanked the CM for this historical decision
