Pakistan is passing through the most critical era:CM Punjab

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan is passing through the most critical era. He said that loot and corruption of the federal rulers have ruined the national economy and the institutions are unable to provide services to the people. He said that Pakistan is facing serious crisis and it is our national and political responsibility to bring the country out of it. He expressed the hope that the people will elect such an honest and capable leadership in the coming general elections as would put the country on the road to development and prosperity. He said that this leadership will be imbued with the spirit of patriotism and will not hesitate for rendering any sacrifice for Pakistan.

He was talking to media after inauguration of first Microsoft Innovation Center in Punjab at Arfa Karim Software Technology Park, here today.

Shahbaz Sharif said that corrupt and incapable rulers have set new records of loot and plunder in the country. He said that these rulers have also gobbled up the loan provided by friendly country China for Safe City Project in Islamabad. The Chief Minister said that Zardari took commission in the purchase of submarines from France. Shahbaz Sharif said that he is not saying this but and news have been published in newspapers of France in this regard and a case has also been registered against the former French President. He said that the nation will hold the corrupt rulers accountable in the general elections and recover the looted money from them. Replying to a question, Shahbaz Sharif said that stability, prosperity, development and economic freedom of Pakistan is linked with elections and, God forbid, if any one tried to stop elections, he will have to face humiliation. He said that till such time an opportunity will not be provided to the nation for accountability through elections, the country will be facing darkness. He said that Pakistan cannot progress without visionary and honest leadership. Shahbaz Sharif said that the next elections are not only for the sake of changing governments but for the survival of the country. He said that solution of all problems of the country also lies in the elections.
