Lahore: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between International Islamic Charity Organization Kuwait (IICO) and MPDMA under which International Islamic Organization would construct 200 homes at a cost of Rs.10 crore for the flood affectees of Rakh Ehsanpur in Muzaffargarh.
The MoU was signed by Country Director IICO Kuwait Naseer-us-Saeed and DG PDMA Mujahid Sherdil on behalf of Punjab government. Mujahid Sherdil while addressing on the occasion, said that land has been provided by the Punjab government for construction of model homes and all necessary facilities would be available to the residents. He said that power supply would be available round the clock through solar system while a dispensary, park and a modern school would also be constructed there. He said that proper roads would be constructed surrounding the homes. A vocational school for imparting technical training to the people would also be constructed by TEVTA, he added. He said that necessary facilities of fuel generated through biogas would also be available to the residents of Ehsanpur, Muzaffargarh.
