Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab has ordered the police to recover abducted sisters within one week.The father of the abducted girls appealed the CM to help for the recovery of his daughters.A complainant Muhammad Amin resident of Walton met Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif at Model Town, here today and informed him that three months ago, his two daughters were abducted from his house who have not been recovered as yet.He goes to police station daily but no one is there who could help him without taking “service charges”. He told the Chief Minister that he is a labourer and earns his livelihood through labour but due to abduction of his daughters, his life has become dark. He requested the Chief Minister for early recovery of his daughters.
Shahbaz Sharif ordered the police officials present on the occasion to recover both the abducted girls within a week and hand them over to their parents. He said that the persons involved in this case should be taken to task. The Chief Minister said that the police should perform this task by considering it as a challenge. Shahbaz Sharif said that protection of life, property and honour of the people is the responsibility of the police and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard. While consoling the complainant, the Chief Minister assured him that both of his daughters will be recovered soon and the culprits will not escape punishment. Inspector General Police Haji Habib ur Rehman and SP CIA Umer Virk were also present on the occasion.
