Pakistan announces national hockey team for champions trophy

Lahore: Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced team for the International Super Series 9-a-side to be played in Perth/Australia from 22nd to 25th November 2012 and 34th Champions Trophy Tournament Melbourne/ 1-9 December 2012..While talking to the media Manager/Head Coach Akhtar Rasool Chaudhary announced that Pakistan hockey team will participate in the captaincy of Muhammad Imran the full back in the said tournament.The other players would be goalkeepers Imran Shah & Imran Butt,fullback Muhammad Ateeq & Syed Kashif Shah,halve Waseem Ahmad, Muhammad Tousiq, Fareed Ahmed, Rashid Mahmood & Muhammad Rizwan Junior,forwards Muhammad Waqas (Vice-Capt), Shafqat Rasool, M. Umar Bhutta, Abdul Haseem Khan, Shakeel Abbasi, Muhammad Kashif Ali, Muhammad Rizwan Senior & Ali Shan.

Akhtar Rasool Chaudhary, Manager/Head Coach, Abdul Hanif Khan, Coach, Ajmal Khan Lodhi & Ahmed Alam, Asst. Coaches, Mr. Faiz-ur-Rahman/Physiotherapist and Mr. Nadeem Khan Lodhi/Video-Analystwould be the team officials
