Syed Asghar Shah will be PML-Q candidate from NA-188 Bahawalnagar

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League has nominated former MNA Syed Muhammad Asghar Shah as its candidate for the general election from National Assembly constituency NA-188 Bahawalnagar.

Syed Muhammad Asghar Shah along with large number of notables from the area called on Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi here today.Reposing confidence in the leadership of Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi, Syed Asghar Shah said that like rest of the Punjab, people of South Punjab and Bahawalnagar are still remembering even today the tenure of Ch Parvez Elahi as the Chief Minister when record development works were undertaken even in the far flung areas of the province and new history of service to the people was written.

Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi expressed the hope that Syed Asghar Shah in pursuance of the PML’s policy of service to the masses will work very hard along with his colleagues for solving the problems of the people of the area. Ch Parvez Elahi said that Pakistan needs revolution of prosperity, we had started the revolution of prosperity in the Punjab but the govt of the so-called “Khadame-A’ala” blocked its way and derailed it from the path of progress, prosperity and welfare and well-being of the people and made it victim of chaos, lawlessness and uncertainty.

He expressed the confidence that in the general elections, people all over the country will support our revolution of prosperity and policies which we had successfully implemented for transforming Punjab into a welfare province would be enforced and implemented throughout Pakistan.
