Lahore: Chairman Samanabad Town Emergency Response Committee Mian Marghoob Ahmad MNA, has said that Islam has declared cleanliness as half faith and we have achieved success in the recent anti-dengue campaign 2012 by acting upon this lesson. He expressed the hope that if we continued this practice, we will be able to completely control the dengue forever.
He was addressing a thanks giving ceremony arranged in Samanabad town in connection with overcoming dengue virus at Pilot Secondary School for Boys here today. Town administration, officers and officials of all concerned departments who worked during dengue campaign, notables of the area and a large number of school children were present on the occasion. Mian Marghoob Ahmad said that people have fully cooperated with the government during anti-dengue campaign which is a proof of the fact that they fully support the government.
Mian Marghoob Ahmad paid tributes to Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif as due to his timely and revolutionary steps, the dengue virus has been controlled through mobilizing entire government machinery and creating awareness among the masses. He said that efforts of present Punjab government in all sectors particularly dengue virus is not only worth emulating for other provinces but for those countries where dengue exists.
Chairman Town Emergency Response Committee also appreciated the participation of the people in recent anti-dengue campaign. He also distributed commendatory certificates among the officers and officials.
