Youth to use vote for bright future of the country: Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore: Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has said that PML-N is making efforts for bringing real change in the country by equipping youth with knowledge and skill. He said that the youth will decide future of the country. He said that youth should use their right of vote in next elections for the bright future and existence of the country with determination of making Pakistan prosperous, keep wheel of the industry moving and eliminate corruption.

He expressed these views while addressing the ceremony of distribution of laptops and the letters of Punjab youth internship programme among students at Agri University Faisalabad, today. Members National Assembly Ch.Abid Sher Ali, Ch. Asim Nazir, Begum Khalida Mansoor, PML leaders besides Vice Chancellor Agriculture University Dr.Iqrar Ahmed Khan and Vice Chancellor GC University Dr. Zakir Hussain were also present on the occasion. Hamza Shahbaz said that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is providing innumerable facilities to the future builders in the field of modern knowledge as well as strengthening them. He said that setting up of Denish Schools, provision of higher education to the talented students through Punjab Endowment Fund, free distribution of laptops among talented students and provision of monthly stipend of rupees ten thousands through Punjab Youth Internship Programme are part of Youth Development Programme. He said that being a nuclear power, Pakistan was making progress speedily during the tenure of Mian Nawaz Sharif and there was no loadshedding in the country rather we were in a position to sell electricity to the neighbouring countries. He lamented had ten billion dollars wasted in the war against terror, been utilized for making the youth educated and skillful, the destiny of the country would have changed.

He said that we are not disappointed at this time as well. He said that Pakistan is rich in the resources of gold, copper, coal and other minerals worth 250 billion dollars but country needed the capable and honest leadership for which youth will have to play their role. Hamza Shahbaz said that corruption of billions of rupees is being committed in PIA, Steel Mills, Railways, Rental Power Projects and other federal institutions. He said had these funds been utilized for youth development, the country would not have to face various crises. He said that leadership of PML-N would complete its mission of public service and will not rest content till achievement of these objectives. He said that the long march launched for restoration of judiciary is its clear example. Referring to the exile of his family, cruelties of dictatorship and difficulties faced in the prison, he said that provision of justice to the oppressed, treatment to the poor patients, welfare of orphans and widows and hapless persons, patronage of deserving students and other measures for public service is the foremost mission of PML (N) government. He said that 73 thousands acres agri land have been distributed among agri graduates in the province so that they could become self reliant by utilizing science and technology. Similarly 20 thousand green tractors are being provided to the rural youth with a subsidy of two lakh rupees on each tractor. He congratulated students obtaining laptops and letters of internship programme. He said that the nation has high hopes with the youth for the progress and prosperity of the country, therefore, they should come forward for the elimination of obsolete system and bring real change.

Chairman Punjab Sports Board, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has announced setting up of state-of-the-art cricket academy in Agriculture University Faisalabad. He made this announcement while addressing the ceremony of distribution of laptops and appointment letters among the students under Punjab Youth Internship Programme at Agriculture University Faisalabad, today. He called on Star Cricketer of Pakistan and World No.1 spinner Saeed Ajmal along with Vice Chancellor Agriculture University Dr. Iqrar Ahmed Khan and Commissioner Faisalabad Division Tahir Hussain and on his desire, assured of extending all possible cooperation, in the project of establishment of first cricket academy of its kind in Faisalabad for polishing the talent of cricket. Vice Chancellor Agriculture University, Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan informed that suitable site would be provided by Agriculture University for the cricket academy while prominent spinner of Pakistan Cricket team Saeed Ajmal will receive funds from international sponsors for the building of cricket academy and provision of necessary facilities.
