Solution of all country’s problem lies in Allama Iqbal philosophy: Nawaz Sharif

Lahore: President Pakistan Muslim League-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the solution of all our internal and external problems lies in following the philosophy of ‘Ishaq” and “Khudi” of Allama Iqbal.

In his message on Iqbal Day, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that Allama Iqbal is not only the poet of Muslims of subcontinent but is the poet of whole of Islam, and indeed, for the whole humanity. He said the message of Alama Iqbal contains guidance for all of us for future as well. He said Allama Iqbal presented the concept of a separate homeland for the Muslims of subcontinent in his Allahabad Address, wherein a modern, democratic and welfare-oriented society would progress, on the lines of universal principles of Islam and all citizens would have equal rights, on the basis of human equality, while no discrimination would be made there against anyone on the basis of cast, colour and creed. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said the philosophy of ‘Khudi’ of Allama Iqbal gives us the lesson of self-respect, self-confidence, self-autonomy and self-reliance, in which, on the one hand, we should utilize our individual capabilities in the best possible manner, while on the other protecting our sovereignty at national level,. He said Allama Iqbal is a poet of hope, whose message exhorts us to move against the darkness of despondency, with self-assurance and confidence.
