Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that present rulers have destroyed prosperous Punjab of our tenure out of their personal ego, our five years period was an era of massive development, N-League cannot compete with our historical and unparalleled services to the people, Sharif Brothers have given the people nothing but disappointments and deprivations and pledged to again put Punjab on the path of development, progress and prosperity.
He said while talking on the occasion of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader from Sahilwal and former candidate from PP-Shabbar Mustafa Sheerazi’s joining Pakistan Muslim League along with his colleagues here today. Moonis Elahi, PML district Sahiwal President Amir Shehzad and Nasir Mahmud Gill were also present.
Shabbar Mustafa Sheerazi said that he was an independent candidate in the last general elections and Jalal-ud-Din Dhakku had secured only few hundreds more votes than him but if Pakistan Muslim League awards him the ticket for the next elections he will defeat Jalal–ud-Din Dhakku with an overwhelming majority.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that PML does politics of issues and service to the people is our fundamental objective, in the success of this great objective every Pakistani is our colleague, we had undertaken record development works all over Punjab without any discrimination during our tenure and went on to add that PML would be further strengthened in Sahiwal with joining of Shabbar Mustafa Sheerazi.
Reposing confidence in the leadership of Ch Shujat Hussain, Ch Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi, Shabbar Mustafa Sheerazi said that he has joined PML which is an ideological party after being impressed by unparalleled developments undertaken in the province during the tenure of Ch Parvez Elahi. He said that five years tenure of Ch Parvez Elahi was golden period in the history of Punjab adding that people after making comparison of four and half years performance of the present rulers are keenly waiting for the return of Ch Parvez Elahi.
