PCB receives reply of Secretary LCCA

Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board has received the reply from Secretary, Lahore City Cricket Association, Mian Javed Ali of the fresh notice issued to him in connection with the show cause notice for violating PCB’s code of conduct.“ Yes, we have received his reply today, Friday, and we expect to reach a decision in week time “,said Shafiq Papa , general managerdomestic, PCB here.

Javed was issued a show cause notice by PCB on September 27 for his
undue criticism on the working of Lahore City Cricket Association and
its President, Khawaja Nadim Ahmed. Javed submitted a reply of show
cause last month which was termed un-satisfactory by the PCB. Javed
was served with a fresh notice in which his explanation was sought on
15-points.“ His detailed reply will be examined by the concerned authorities and we hope to reach a decision in a week time “,he said.
To a question, PCB official said it is premature to say what decision
will be taken but pointed out that PCB has zero tolerance on such
issues.

He said the delay in the matter was due to the late reply of LCCA
Secretary which is a routine in such cases. “ It has seen that
individuals involve in such cases usually submit their reply not on
time “,he said adding “ We are looking into the matter carefully and
whatever decision will be taken will be communicated”.
