Khosa distributes free plots among the deserving persons

Lahore: Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab Senator Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa has said that Punjab government believes in merit and, during the , under Jinnahabadi Scheme, transparency has been kept uppermost. He said model villages would be set up under Jinnahabadi Scheme, where all necessary facilities would be available.

He expressed these views during a ceremony held in connection with free distribution of plots among 1200 deserving persons at Zila Council Hall in Dera Ghazi Khan. District Administration and office-bearers of Pakistan Muslim League-N were also present on the occasion. Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa said that Punjab government of PML-N has completed mega projects, worth billions of rupees, in Dera Ghaz Khan, and projects like Ghazi Medical College, Ghazi University, Daanish School, Centre of Excellence projects, provision of Green Tractors at a subsidize of two lakhs rupees to farmers, distribution of yellow cab vehicles, among the unemployed youth, construction of wide carpeted roads, provision of new water supply and sewerage schemes are proof of the excellent performance of Punjab government.

Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa said that more than 20 thousand families had submitted applications, under Jinnahabadi Scheme in DG Khan, out of which 1200 deserving persons have been awarded propriety rights after thorough scrutiny and monitoring. He said that the government is utilizing all available resources to ensure employment to the downtrodden and deprived segments of the society, along with poverty alleviation.

Later, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa distributed certificates of residential plots of 5 and 3 marla among the deserving families. Talking to the media representatives after the ceremony, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa said that PML-N believes in clean and service-oriented politics and sincere leaders would be welcomed into the party, in accordance with its manifesto.
