China can invest in energy secor:Governor Punjab

Lahore: Six member Chinese Delegation headed by Chairman Foreign Affairs Committee, National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference reached Lahore on 26-10-2012, Special Secretary Senate Mr. Amjad Pervaiz Malik received the delegation. The Head of the Delegation showed great respect for the Father of the Nation the Quaid-i-Azam. He showed great interest in getting the chandelier at the tomb cleaned and updated in a manner as it could be cleaned every year. The delegation also called on Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khan Khosa.

They Discussed matters of mutual interest. The Governor welcomed the delegation and apprised them about the problem being faced by Pakistan in the Energy Sector. He said there is great opportunity in producing electricity from hydal, solar and wind power in Pakistan. The Governor also told the delegation about the love Pakistani people had for Chinese nation. He said our friendship with China was higher than Himalayas and deeper than the Indian Ocean.

The Governor appreciated Chinese Government for her having been supportive of Pakistan during Natural Calamities like Earthquake 2005 and Floods 2010. The Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khan Khosa also hosted a sumptuous dinner in the honour of the Chinese delegation. He wished them success in the up coming Election of the Congress in China.
