Zakia Shahnawaz attends Dress Show and Handicrafts Exhibition

Lahore: Advisor to Chief Minister on Population Welfare and Special Education, Begum Zakia Shahnawaz attended Dress Show and Handicrafts Exhibition held at Expo Center Johar Town in connection with Punjab Youth Festival 2012. She lauded the women who participated in the competition.

On this occasion, Zakia Shahnawaz appreciated the efforts of Sports Board Punjab and Social Welfare Department. She congratulated the women and said that participation of more than 30 thousand women in the handicrafts competition is a good omen. She said that this is a marvelous opportunity for the women of the province to express their talent and further polish their capabilities.

While talking to the women who won the competition during prize distribution ceremony, Begum Zakia Shahnawaz said that this show is also an event for the publicity of products relating to women. She also visited the stalls and praised the designs of the handicrafts and amalgamation of colours.
