PP-26 Jhelum bye-election: Muhammad Arif nominated as PML-Q candidate

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has nominated Muhammad Arif as PML candidate for PP-26 bye-election and issued him the party ticket.

Speaking on the occasion here today, Ch Parvez Elahi maintained that during our tenure we had undertaken record development works which are unparalleled in the history of Pakistan. He said that performance of the govts of PML and N-League are both before the people, we had served the masses all over the province during our tenure and what they have done, this should be decided by the people themselves.

He asked the people that when N-League candidate approaches them to secure their support and vote, they should ask him as to what they have done for the welfare and well-being of the people during their rule? He said development works of our tenure are before the people and ample proof of our performance and service to the people without any discrimination as such the people should vote for our nominated candidates in the bye-elections and ensure their success so that are elected again and work more for the people.

Continuing, Ch Parvez Elahi said that because of inefficiency and faulty measures of the present Punjab Government, crime rate has increased in the province in an unprecedented manner, lives and properties of the people are neither safe in their homes nor on roads and dacoits and looters under the patronage of N-League are roaming freely and committing all sorts of crime in cities, towns and villages all over the province and the crime situation has gone out of any control of the rulers.
