In a statement issued here at Mansoora on Monday, he said due to the dual citizenship and fake degrees the Parliament had lost its credibility so the president should announce new elections process. He said that elections for local government before the national elections would be a useless democratic process.
He said the time has come that a consensus care-taker set up be established, ECP be authorized financially and administratively and free and fair elections be ensured.
Appreciating the PTI peace march towards Waziristan he said a change in national policy is needed to stop the drone attacks and US slavery. “Stoppage of PTI march is no to democracy and all political parties should be allowed to work in Waziristan,” he added.
He said opposition parties including PML-N and JUI-F had passed anti US resolutions and now they must avoid taking steps that ended in favor of the US and the president Zardari.
Liaqat Baloch condemned the firing incident at MNA Nafeesa Shah Jalsa in Khairpur which took several lives including political workers and journalists. He expressed his deep sorrow over the killing of innocent people and demanded of the government to bring the culprits to justice as soon as possible.
