Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that PML’s manifesto is service to the people, it is the right of the people to seek facilities including supply of gas and we are duty bound to provide these facilities to them.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion of inauguration of today, Ch Parvez Elahi declared that we are moving forward with the mission of Ch Zahoor Elahi Shaheed.
He said that the objective behind establishing the Gujrat University was to educate the future generations, if we come in power again with the blessings of Almighty Allah and support of the people then we would establish network of universities in the province, primary schools will be upgraded to the middle school and middle schools would be upgraded to the level of high schools and roads would also be constructed.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that now it was up to the people to decide in the coming elections, when N-League people come to ask for your vote ask them as to what they had done for the welfare of the people and with which face they have come to ask for vote from the people.
He said record development works done during our tenure are before the people and are the ample proof of our performance. He asked the people to vote for PML nominated candidates so that they are elected again and work more for the welfare and well-being of the people.
Former Provincial Education Minister Mian Imran Masood expressed gratitude to Ch Parvez Elahi for provision of Sui gas to Tibbi Seekhoaan. He said that by giving the gift of the university Ch Parvez Elahi had equipped the generations of the people of Gujrat with education adding that befitting return for this gesture is that we should support them in the coming elections.
Former Tehsil Nazim Azmat Shah said that people of the different areas of Gujrat to which Ch Parvez Elahi has provided supply of Sui gas could never think about having this facility.
On the stage were seated Mian Pervaiz Akhtar Pagganwala, Atif Azmat, Ch Sarwar, Hanif Haideri, Ch Inamul Haq, Zulfiqar Paan, Ch Javed Bahadur, Ch Iqbal, Ch Zakaullah, Ch Muhammad Akram, Ch Muhammad Shahid, Qari Khadim Hussain Qadri, Ch Haji Muhammad Zubair, Ch Ali Asghar Cheema, Ch Tauseef Liaquat, Ch Tariq and Ch Saadat Nawaz among others.
