Turban is considered the symbol of honour:Zafar Iqbal Jhagra

Lahore: Imran Khan has insulted the tribal people by throwing the turban presented by tribal elite to the people after addressing the public meeting of Tehirk-e-Insaaf at Tank and the tribal people are shocked over this childish and irresponsible act of Imran Khan. While commenting on the public meeting of Imran Khan at Tank, Secretary General Pakistan Muslim League-N Zafar Iqbal Jhagra said that the turban is considered the symbol of honour and respect in tribal areas and tribal elite had presented traditional turban to Imran Khan as an encouragement as a guest but they were not aware of it that the person disgracing other people will also throw their turban to the party workers. He said that Imran Khan is not aware of the ABC of politics and now the people have become aware that he is not familiar with the traditions of the tribal people. Zafar Iqbal Jhagra said that Imran Khan’s march was not an expression of solidarity with the people of Waziristan but was political point-scoring. He said that Imran Khan should have known that he was making speech in tribal area and not in Europe. What message Imran Khan wanted to convey to the people of tribal areas by throwing the turban worn by tribal elite to the people, he questioned? He said that the tribal people might not have so shocked over drone attacks as they were shocked over the throwing of symbol of their honour and respect.

Commenting upon the “drone march”, Provincial Minister for Law, Rana Sanaullah said that Imran Khan had used the name of Waziristan, but now he is on a picnic journey. He said that Imran Khan declared himself as a lion and others as artificial lions but the actual lion never returns back without achieving its target. He said that the real lion was that person who started long march with determination and returned after getting restored the judges. He said that the lion faced a dictator and left the power, accepted the jails and handcuffs but did not compromise with Musharraf. Rana Sanaullah asked Imran Khan to stop calling himself as a public leader because he is nothing more than a leader of a group holding a concert.
