Lahore: National Highways & Motorway Police N-5 Central have foiled attempts of robbery , prevented abduction, seized huge amount of liquor and recovered arms and ammunition after arresting 11 criminals involved in different criminal activities besides reuniting 01 lost child with his aggrieved family.
According to details the officers of NH&MP N-5 Central arrested namely Sarfarz , Yasin r/o Okara , Abdur Rehman, Nadir Ali r/o Liaqat Pur, Parviaz, Aslam , Rabnawaz, Abdul Razaq, Iqbal r/o of Okara and Khalid r/o Ahmed Pur East, for their involvement in different criminal activities and liquor, illegal weapons along with ammunition were recovered from their possession.
On the directions of DIG N-5 Central Rai Altaf Hussain the arrested criminals and recovered items were handed over to local police for further investigation and legal action.
Similarly the patrol officers of Motorway Police helped lost 08 years old Usman s/o Akram to reunite with his aggrieved family.
Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police appreciated the efforts of patrol officers and awarded commendation certificates to the officers for their excellent performance.
