Balochistan needs special attention of the ruling party: Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore: Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that the issue of Balochistan will neither be solved through package not Imran Khan’s drama of Waziristan. He said that PML-N leadership is pursuing an agenda of removing the sense of deprivation of Bloch people forever by including the Balochistan into national mainstream. He said that Balochistan also needs special attention of the ruling party.

He expressed these views while addressing women health convention held in connection with Second Healthcare Expo at Expo Center and later talking to media-men, here today. Prof. Rashid Latif, Dr. Haroon Latif, Khalil ur Rehman and Saad Rana also addressed the convention.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that the people like Imran Khan can do nothing except sloganeering and tall claims. He said that the claim of Imran Khan of being friend of people had been exposed during dengue attack last year. He said that when the people were dying due to dengue, the hospital of Imran Khan had refused to reduce the rate of CBC test. He said that Imran Khan had not helped the people at the time of distress. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that the issue of Balochistan became serious when a dictator killed a veteran politician Akbar Bugti and usurped the rights of Balochistan. He said that this is the flaw of the dictatorship that an individual takes decision that who is a patriot and who is traitor and he does not give any importance to the power of the vote of people.

Hamza Shabaz Sharif said that it has been clear from the IRI survey report that who has gained popularity by serving the country and the nation and who has lost the support of the masses due to anti-people steps and plundering resources. He said that hue and cry by PPP about this survey report is nothing except thief crying thief.

Addressing Women Health Convention, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that uplift of health sector is impossible without active participation of the private sector. He said that Punjab government will bring a revolution in health sector with the cooperation of private sector. He appreciated the role of those institutions of private sector which are supplementing the efforts of government for public healthcare. He said that four such hospitals which had become non-functional practically inside the city have been converted into the state-of-the-art institutions again which are fully serving the people. He said that the youth which is 64% of the population of the country will have to pledge for bringing the country out of quagmire of problems. He said that the neighbouring countries have made tremendous progress whereas we are lagging behind and we are short of time to come at par with them. He urged upon the people to elect such persons in the coming elections who are patriotic and sympathizer of the masses and whose past reflects the services to the people and the country.

Earlier, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated an exhibition about health sector. He inspected various stalls and got information about the new inventions introduced in medical sector.
