Another student gets home in Aashyana Scheme


Lahore: On behalf of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab on Education and Member Provincial Assembly Zaeem Hussain Qadri handed over key of a house in Aashiyana housing scheme to a student Muhammad Naeem who stood first in Multan Board matriculation examination by achieving 965 marks, in a ceremony held at 90-Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam, here today. Chairman Punjab Land Development Company Sheikh Allauddin was also present on the occasion. He also announced award of one commercial shop to the father of the student Muhammad Hanif in the housing scheme in view of his financial condition.

It may be mentioned that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif had announced allotment of a house to the student Muhammad Naeem in Aashiyana housing scheme during prize distribution ceremony of boy and girl students who achieved distinction in the matriculation examination. Zaeem Hussain Qadri said that student Muhamamd Naeem has already been awarded Rs.4 lakh and scholarship on behalf of Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif whereas he is being provided a monthly educational stipend of Rs.25 thousand. The brilliant student whom the Chief Minister announced for giving key of constructed house belongs to adjoining village Hota of district Multan whose home was swept away in flood. His father works as a vendor, due to which they were facing financial constraints. Keeping in view his financial position, the Chief Minister Punjab announced these facilities to the brilliant student Muhamamd Naeem.
On the occasion, Zaeem Hussain Qadri deeply appreciated the efforts of Headmaster High School Hota Multan Tahir Imdad for enabling students like Muhammad Naeem to achieve distinction in examination due to his personal attention. Zaeem Hussain Qadri said that such teachers are extremely respectable who are providing invaluable education to their students by giving free additional time to them in school.
