Faiza, Bushra win cooking, dress-designing contests

Lahore: The cooking and dress designing competitions of the Punjab Youth Festival in the Tehsil level continued on Tuesday and competitions in the city of Lahore were held among the participants of Samanabad and Nashtar Towns.

The ladies of Samanabad and Nashtar Town took part in cooking competition at Social Welfare office at Green Town where around 20 ladies took part. Out of these participants, three ladies were declared the winners with the first prize going to Faiza of UC 135 of Nashtar Town. Farhat Israr of UC 138 and Aiysha Nizam of UV 134 were placed second and third.

In the competition of dress designing, around 40 girls and ladies took part in the event at Technical Service Association office Shadman. But win landed in favour of Bushra Imanat of Nishtar Town while Fozia Mushtaq of Samanabad and Faiza of Nashtar Town were declared second and third respectively.
