Roads to American consulates & embassy blocked due to violent protest on “Youm e Ishq e Rasool day”

Lahore: On “Yaum e Ishq e Rasool PBUH” day the whole country is experiencing protests and unrest. Rallies are on the main roads of every city which has created chaos. To ensure the security and peace in the cities armed forces are called.
On the other side, every single road to American consulates and embassy are closed as the protesters might march towards these important places. Containers, barriers and wires are used to close the important road. Heavy shelling and aerial firing is being done by the police to distract the participants of the protest. Rangers are also deployed outside governor’s house and American consulate.
Mind it that due to security reasons mobile service in Pakistan was also temporarily blocked today which has reopened now.
