Lahore: has said that every patriotic Pakistani is with his flood-stricken brethren and all out efforts are being made for their relief and rehabilitation. He said that government is utilizing maximum resources for the help and assistance of flood-affectees. He said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab, hundreds of trucks of edible items are being distributed in the calamity-hit areas. He said that routine activities will resume in Rajanpur and DG Khan after the receding of flood water. He said that more than 3500 flood affectees have taken shelter in 23 flood relief camps set up by the government who are being provided food and other essential commodities regularly.
Malik Iqbal Channar further said that government had distributed about seven thousand tents for providing shelter to the flood victims while daily use items and edibles had also been provided. He said that government had also supplied thousands of ration bags containing atta, sugar, ghee, soap, pulses, dry milk, rice etc and every effort will be made for the rehabilitation of flood-hit people.
