Imran should not object on public welfare projects:Pervaiz Rasheed

Lahore: Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that why is Imran Khan criticizing every public welfare project. He said that Imran Khan tries to get sympathies of the people by demanding in Lahore development of big cities and criticizing the ongoing mega projects in big cities during his visit to far flung areas.

Pervaiz Rashid said that metro bus service is not a project of any particular party but this project is aimed at facilitating the common citizens. He asked Imran Khan to answer have Pakistani people no right to modern travelling facilities. Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that besides Lahore, Punjab government is also launching this project in other big cities, but why Imran Khan is objecting to it. He said that modern travelling facilities are not only the right of elite but are also the right of common man, workers and students. Pervaiz Rashid said that Imran Khan cannot promote his political activities by following the principle of criticism for the sake of criticism but he will have to talk about the facts and the facts are that Punjab government is focusing on education, health and other sectors in the far flung districts of the province and establishment of all Daanish Schools and launching of mobile ambulance service are a clear proof of this. Pervaiz Rashid expressed his concern that why Imran Khan does not like betterment of the poor and totally rejects the public welfare projects. He said that it is against justice to create disparity between cities of the same province and Imran Khan will be held accountable in the people’s court.
