Lahore: Senior Vice President Jamiat-e-Ulema Pakistan Shah Muhammad Awais Noorani called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here today. Overall political situation of the country, issue of caretaker prime minister and other matters of mutual interest came under discussion during the meeting. The Chief Minister said that metro bus service which is the most splendid project in the transport history of the country has been launched for provision of latest transport facilities to the people in the provincial metropolis. He said that some shrines have also been affected by the construction work and are being shifted to alternative sites in the public interest. He said that shrines are being shifted to other places with due respect and sanctity and public sentiments have been kept in view during the process. Member Punjab Assembly Noor Haider Niazi and Pir Ijaz Hashmi as well as other JUP leaders were also present on the occasion.
