Punjab Police Integrated Command & Control Center in Lahore

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high level meeting here today to review the pace of the project of setting up Punjab Police Integrated Command & Control Center. Advisor Jehanzeb Burki, Chairman Planning & Development, Inspector General Police, Secretary Home, Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board, CCPO Lahore and DIG Operations were present. Specialist Dr.Amanat Hussain gave a briefing regarding the project.

The Chief Minister said that establishment of Punjab Police Integrated Command & Control Center in the provincial metropolis will help in controlling the incidents of crime and terrorism. He said that this project is of vital importance in the launching of prompt relief activities in case of any accident and effective monitoring of police performance, therefore, there should not be any delay in its execution. He said that Punjab government will provide funds for the establishment of this modern center and the project should be completed within available resources. He directed Inspector General Police to take measures for speedy implementation of this important project without any wastage of time. The participants of the meeting also gave their proposals regarding setting up of the center.
